'Managerless' QPR to shoot down Bluebirds

QPR may not have a permanent manager, but with owner Flavio Briatore pulling the strings the West London club have a manager in all but name.

With Iain Dowie's departure as a result of Briatore's medddling in team affairs, not many candidates have been keen to put their names forward for the hotseat.

For the time being Gareth Ainsworth continues in a caretaker capacity with no doubt the F1 supremo giving him a few subtle tips now and again.

Remarkably since Ainsworth was appointed caretaker boss the side have done reasonably well. Gaining a point away at Reading and thus ending the Royals perfect home record. This was then followed up by a home success over Birmingham.

Admittedly though last time out the Hoops fell to a 2-0 defeat away at Ipswich.

On Saturday Rangers have another tricky test as they host fellow promotion hunting side Cardiff. QPR can be backed at 11/10 with the Welshmen 12/5 shots as is the draw.

Cardiff lost both of their main strikers last weekend to injury and although they have recruited old boy Michael Chopra on-loan from Sunderland this will no doubt disrupt the Bluebirds.

The current set-up at Loftus Road may be unconventional but it seems to be working and the 11/10 about a home victory is good value.

Both Reading and Wolves have home matches, against Derby and Burnley respectively. A Championship home treble of QPR, Reading and Wolves pays at just under 5/1 and is well worth a bet.
