Fortuna Düsseldorf - FC Schalke 04

  • Düsseldorf have won only 1 of their last 6 BL home games against Schalke (2 draws, 3 losses) - 2-0 on February 24 1996.
  • The two teams' last BL meeting was won by Düsseldorf (1-0 at Schalke in May 1997). Fortuna, however, have only once been able to win consecutive BL games vs Schalke (1978/79).
  • Fortuna have yet to concede a goal this BL season. Only 1 team before in BL history kept a clean sheet in their first 5 games of the season - Stuttgart in 2003/04.
  • Currently only 3 other top flight teams in all of Europe have conceded no goals in their respective leagues this season: Kukesi (Albania), Tre Penne (San Marino) and AEK Larnaka (Cyprus). None of these teams, however, have already played as many as 5 league games.

  • Leverkusen haven't lost any of their last 5 Bundesliga home matches, winning 3 and drawing 2. The new coach Sascha Lewandowski is the only Bundesliga coach without a home defeat.

Borussia Dortmund v Borussia Mönchengladbach
