PFA Player Of The Year: RVP leads Suarez Ahead Of Super Sunday

Robin van Persie has started this season exactly as he finished the last and William Hill make him 2/7 to win this year's PFA Player of the Year well ahead of any of his rivals. Juan Mata is the 7/1 second favourite with Gareth Bale 8/1, Luis Suarez 9/1 and Michu rounding off the top five at 10/1. Van Persie leads Suarez, who he will come up against on Sunday, in the top goalscorer odds with the United striker 5/4 and Suarez 9/4.

"Suarez has had a fantastic season so far and is singlehandedly rescuing Liverpool's although it seems to be that anything that he can do, van Persie can do better," said William Hill spokesman Joe Crilly.

Van Persie is also the 6/1 to score the fastest goal on Super Sunday (by match minute) with Carlos Tevez 10/1 second favourite.
