Norwich City v West Ham United

  • West Ham have conceded more fouls than any other team in the Premier League (48).
  • Five of the last six league meetings between Norwich and West Ham have ended as draws.
  • West Ham have won none of their last 14 league trips to Carrow Road (W0 D6 L8).
  • The Canaries have won just one of their last eight Premier League games (W1 D3 L4), but have lost just one of the last five (W1 D3 L1).
  • Norwich have kept just one clean sheet in their last 17 Premier League games.
  • West Ham have won none of their last seven away games in the Premier League, losing the last five in a row.
  • West Ham picked up more points away from home than any other team in the Championship last season (45).
  • The Hammers netted more goals from set pieces than any other side in the Championship in 2011-12 (33) and three of the four goals they have netted this season have come from dead balls.
  • Jussi Jaaskelainen has made more saves than any other goalkeeper in the 2012-13 Premier League.

  • Arsenal have kept a clean sheet in each of their opening three league games for the first time since 1924/25.
  • Kelvin Davis has saved the last three penalties he has faced in the PL - vs Man Utd and Man City this season, and Aston Villa (May 2006).
  • Rickie Lambert has scored against both Man Utd and Man City this season. Only Defoe and Crouch managed this in the PL 11/12.
  • Southampton have dropped the most points from winning positions this season (6).
  • Arsenal recovered more points from winning positions than any other team in the 2011-12 Premier League (24).
  • The Gunners have won none of their last four Premier League home games. The last time they went five without a win on home soil was in 1995 in the run up to George Graham's sacking.

Aston Villa v Swansea City

  • Michu has scored four goals from just four shots on target in the Premier League.
  • Michu is only the fourth player since 1993 to score in each of his first three PL games from the start of the season (Pogrebnyak, Mutu, Michael Ricketts).
  • All 10 of Swansea's goals have been netted from open play so far.
  • Aston Villa are on a run of 13 Premier League games without a win (W0 D6 L7).
  • On home soil, the Villans have won just one of their last 14 Premier League games (W1 D5 L8).
  • Swansea have lost just one of their last eight Premier League games (W4 D3 L1).
  • Paul Lambert has enjoyed four wins and just one defeat in five games as a coach against Swansea City, including two victories in the Premier League last season.
  • Swansea have only won four of the 16 league meetings with Aston Villa, but they have won two and drawn one of the last three.

  • The Baggies have scored just three goals in their last 13 away league games v Fulham and haven't won at Craven Cottage since October 1967.
  • The Whites have lost just one of their last 11 Premier League games at Craven Cottage (W8 D2 L1).
  • West Brom have lost just one of their last eight Premier League matches (W4 D3 L1)
  • The Baggies have won just one of their last seven Premier League away games, however (W1 D3 L3).
  • West Brom have kept just two clean sheets in their last 39 Premier League away matches.
  • All six goals Fulham have conceded so far this season have been netted in the first half.
  • This is West Brom's best start to a top flight season since 1978-79 when they won their first three matches.

 

 

Manchester United v Wigan Athletic

  • Robin van Persie has scored four goals from just six shots on target so far for Manchester United.
  • The Dutchman has netted 52 goals in his last 58 Premier League games.
  • Robin van Persie scored a hat-trick and missed a penalty last time out against Southampton. He also achieved this feat against Wigan in January 2011 for Arsenal.
  • Man Utd have recovered more points (6) from losing positions already than they did in the whole of 2011-12 (3).
  • The Red Devils had won all 14 meetings in all competitions with Wigan up prior to their defeat in April last season.
  • Wigan have failed to score in eight of the last 10 league games against Man Utd.
  • Man Utd have conceded more headed goals than any other team in the Premier League this season (3).
  • Wigan have had three players sent off in their last two visits to Old Trafford.
  • Wigan have lost just two of their last nine Premier League games (W6 D1 L2).

Queens Park Rangers v Chelsea

  • Chelsea have won penalties in each of their first three Premier League games this season.
  • Park Ji-Sung has set up the joint-most scoring chances for team-mates from open play along with Santi Cazorla (10).
  • Eden Hazard already has four goal assists this season and won two penalties.
  • Last season, Chelsea picked up fewer points in London derbies than any other team from the capital and one less point than QPR.
  • Defeat at home to Swansea on the opening day ended a run of six games without defeat and five successive wins at Loftus Road for QPR.
  • The last time these two sides met, Chelsea became only the second side in Premier League history to put six goals past QPR (29 April 2012), the other being Fulham in October 2011.

  • The last three Premier League games at the Britannia Stadium between Stoke & Man City have ended with a 1-1 scoreline.
  • Man City won their first two visits to the Britannia Stadium, but have not won any of the last five, drawing three and losing two in all competitions.

  • Newcastle have lost three of their last four Premier League away games, but haven't drawn any of their last 13 on the road.
  • Johnny Heitinga netted for the winning side in both games last season with an own goal contributing to Newcastle's 2-1 win at St James Park and at the right end in Everton's 3-1 success on Merseyside.
  • Everton have made more defensive clearances (114) than any other team in the Premier League after three match days.
