Sunderland v West Bromwich Albion

  • West Brom have won four and lost none of the last five Premier League matches against Sunderland.
  • Steven Fletcher has scored three goals in two Premier League appearances against the Baggies.
  • Peter Odemwingie has netted four goals in four Premier League appearances against the Black Cats.
  • There have been four goals scored inside the opening 10 minutes of the last three Premier League meetings between Sunderland and West Brom - three of those by the Baggies.
  • Martin O'Neill's side have won just one of their last eight Premier League games at the Stadium of Light (W1 D5 L2).
  • Sunderland have only scored five goals in their last eight home Premier League matches.

  • Norwich (11) have taken four more points than Everton (7) over their last six Premier League games.

Manchester United v Queens Park Rangers

  • Manchester United have won 10 and lost none of the last 13 matches in all competitions against QPR.
  • Mark Hughes has won two and lost eight of the 13 matches as a Premier League manager against former boss Sir Alex Ferguson.
  • Mark Hughes was the opposition manager in the first Premier League game where an opposition player scored a hat-trick against Manchester United (David Bentley, Blackburn 4-3 February 2006) and QPR were the last team to have an opponent net a league hat-trick at Old Trafford (Dennis Bailey 4-1 January 1992).
  • Mark Hughes scored for Manchester United in his last two appearances against QPR at Old Trafford.
  • Wayne Rooney was first goalscorer in both games against QPR last season.
  • Paul Scholes has scored three goals in three Premier League games against QPR.

  • In the last five Premier League meetings between Fulham and Stoke, all six goals that the Whites have scored have been in the first hour and five of them in the opening 33 minutes, while all four netted by Stoke have been scored in the final 15 minutes of games.
  • The Potters have conceded just one goal and kept four clean sheets in their last five Premier League games at the Britannia Stadium.
  • Stoke are unbeaten in their last 12 Premier League home matches, though they have won just five and drawn seven in that run.
  • Fulham are unbeaten in their last four Premier League away games; only twice before, August 2004 (six games) and November 2006 (five games) have they been on a longer run without defeat on the road.
  • No team has ever drawn three consecutive away matches in the Premier League having scored at least three goals in each game, or drawn four consecutive away games having netted at least twice in each match.   • Aston Villa have won none of their last 13 Premier League home games against Arsenal (D6 L7).
  • There has been a goal scored in the 87th minute or later in seven of the last nine Premier League games between Arsenal and Villa.
  • Darren Bent has scored six goals in his last eight Premier League games against Arsenal and in his only FA Cup appearance against them last season for Villa.
  • Abou Diaby has scored four goals in six Premier League games against Villa; more than against any other opponent in the competition.
  • The Villans have won only two of their last 18 home games in the Premier League (W2 D7 L9).
  • The Gunners had lost just one of their previous 12 Premier League away games (W7 D4 L1) before losing their last two on the road against Norwich and Man Utd.
  • The only top-flight season in which Villa have had fewer points after 12 games than this season is 1964-65 (adjusted for three points for a win).
  • Arsenal's last two Premier League games have produced a total of 13 goals.

Swansea City v Liverpool

  • Swansea and Liverpool have already met once this season with the Welsh side winning 3-1 at Anfield in the Capital One Cup.
  • Swansea had failed to score in their previous five games against Liverpool before beating them 1-0 in the Premier League at the Liberty Stadium in May.
  • Liverpool have won just one of their last six Premier League away games (W1 D3 L2), a run which started with defeat to Swansea.
  • The Reds have kept just one clean sheet on the road in their last 12 Premier League away games.
  • Swansea won their first ever Premier League game in the month of November last weekend at Newcastle (W1 D4 L1).
  • Luis Suarez was Liverpool's top Premier League scorer last season with 11 goals, he already has 10 this season.

  • Newcastle have won none of their last six Premier League away games, but have drawn the last four in a row.
  • If only goals from corners counted this season, Southampton would be in second place.
  • If only goals from corners counted this season, Newcastle would be third bottom.
  • Newcastle have played a higher percentage of their passes long than any other Premier League team this season (17.5%).
  • Seven headed goals have been scored at St Mary's this season, only the Hawthorns (8) has seen more.
  • Southampton have a saves to shots rate of only 52% this season, meaning almost one in two shots on target against them have resulted in goals.
  • Southampton are yet to keep a clean sheet this season but have scored in 10 of their 12 league games.

Chelsea v Manchester City

  • Carlos Tevez has scored six goals in his last six Premier League games against Chelsea.
  • There have been five penalties awarded in the last six Premier League games between Chelsea and Man City.
  • Chelsea have won 20 times against Man City in the Premier League; only Tottenham (23) have been on the end of more defeats from the Blues.
  • Only Arsenal (21) have beaten Manchester City more often than Chelsea (20) in the Premier League.
  • The last four Premier League meetings between these two sides have ended as home wins.
  • Man City are unbeaten in their last eight Premier League away games since losing to Arsenal in April (W5 D3 L0).
  • Since losing 1-2 to Chelsea last December, Man City have only conceded more than once in a game in just one of 16 away Premier League trips.
  • Chelsea have not gone three games at Stamford Bridge without a Premier League win since December 2008.
  • Chelsea have lost just two of 15 Premier League games at Stamford Bridge in 2012 (W10 D3 L2).

Tottenham Hotspur v West Ham United

  • Tottenham have won seven and lost one of their last 10 Premier League games against West Ham.
  • Jermain Defoe has scored in four of his last seven Premier League games for Tottenham against West Ham.
  • Spurs have not lost three Premier League games in a row at White Hart Lane since September 2008. That was part of a run of eight home games without a victory that culminated with the sacking of Juande Ramos.
  • The Hammers have failed to score in five of their last seven Premier League matches against Tottenham.
  • If Premier League games lasted 80 minutes this season, Spurs would be second, behind West Brom.
  • Jussi Jääskeläinen has made a save every 20 mins and 48 secs this season on average, the fastest rate of any goalkeeper.
  • Jääskeläinen also has the best saves to shots rate from shots taken from inside the penalty area (78%).
  • Spurs have caught more opponents offside than any other Premier League team this season (38).
