Liverpool v Chelsea

  • After a run of four successive Premier League wins against Chelsea, Liverpool are winless in four against the Blues (D2 L2).
  • Eden Hazard has scored in two of his three Barclays Premier League appearances against Liverpool.
  • Cesc Fabregas has recorded nine goal assists already for Chelsea this season, more than any Blues player managed last season.
  • Only four players set up more goals in the whole of last season's Premier League than Fabregas has created this term (Gerrard 13, Suarez 12, Lambert 10 & Rooney 10).
  • Only three teams have ever had more points than Chelsea (26) have accrued after 10 games of a season in Premier League history (Man City 2011-12 28, Chelsea 2005-06 28 & Newcastle 1995-96 27).
  • Liverpool have had fewer points at this stage in four Premier League seasons and in each case they finished outside the top four - 1992-93 6th, 1993-94 8th, 2010-11 6th and 2012-13 7th).
  • Despite that, the Reds have gone on to finish in the top four on the three previous occasions that they have had exactly 14 points after 10 games.

Burnley v Hull City

  • Four of the last five league meetings between Burnley and Hull City have ended with a 1-0 scoreline.
  • Hull City won the last meeting between the two sides at Turf Moor in March 2013, but this ended a run of seven straight wins for the Clarets over the Tigers.
  • Burnley have scored with a lower proportion of their shots than any other team in the Premier League (6%).
  • Burnley are the 10th side to fail to win any of their opening 10 Premier League matches of a single season. Three of the previous nine have survived.
  • Hull City have won just one of their last 10 Premier League away matches (W1 D4 L5).
  • Burnley have won just two of their last 18 home games in the Premier League (W2 D7 L9).
  • This is the 57th league meeting between Burnley and Hull but only the third in the top-flight.
  • After scoring in each of their opening eight Premier League games this season, Hull have now failed to score in their last two.
  • A defeat in this game will see Burnley match the record of their arch-rivals Blackburn in the 1996-97 season (W0 D4 L7). Rovers managed to avoid relegation that campaign.
  • Hull are the only Premier League team this season who don't have at least one player to have featured in every minute of every game.

Manchester United v Crystal Palace

  • No Barclays Premier League team has had more players sent off than Manchester United in 2014 (5).
  • Palace have had a player sent off in two of the last three league meetings with Man Utd.
  • Manchester United have made their worst start to a Premier League season, with just 13 points from 10 games. Their previous worst was 17 points.
  • Palace have failed to score in eight of the 10 Premier League meetings with Manchester United.
  • Robin van Persie has scored a penalty in each of his two Premier League appearances against Palace.
  • Both meetings in the Premier League last season saw van Persie open the scoring and Rooney net a second for United in 2-0 victories.
  • The Red Devils have won 10 and drawn two of the last 12 league meetings with the Eagles since Palace won 3-0 in May 1991.
  • Crystal Palace have scored a higher proportion of goals from set pieces than any other team in the Premier League (57%).

Southampton v Leicester City

  • Victor Wanyama has scored three goals in his last six Premier League appearances, having failed to net in his previous 26.
  • The last eight league meetings between Leicester and Southampton have been in the Championship, with the teams drawing both matches the last time they were together in the top flight in 2003-04.
  • Southampton have conceded just five league goals this season; fewer than any other team in England's top four divisions.
  • Leicester City have failed to score in four of their last five Premier League matches.
  • The Saints have won five and lost none of their last seven Premier League matches at St Mary's.
  • Southampton have conceded only three goals in their last nine on home soil and kept six clean sheets in that run.
  • If Southampton win this game without conceding they will have the same W-D-L and goals conceded record as Wigan did after 11 games in 2005-06. The Latics eventually faded to finish 10th.

  • Aston Villa have only ever had fewer than 10 points in two previous Premier League campaigns after 10 matches (2005-06 & 2012-13).

  • 17 points and a goal difference of +5 is West Ham's best ever start to a Premier League season.
  • West Ham have played 36 times against Aston Villa in the Premier League without ever earning a red card, the most games by a team who has not picked up a dismissal against a certain opponent.

  • Edin Dzeko has scored in three of his four Premier League appearances against Queens Park Rangers.
  • There have been five red cards in the last eight Premier League meetings between Man City and QPR.
  • Man City have won four and lost none of the last five meetings in all competitions with Rangers.
  • Manuel Pellegrini's side have scored seven goals in the final 15 minutes of matches this season, more than any other team in the top division.
  • Defeat last time on the road at West Ham ended a run of 17 games where City lost just once and won 12 (D4).

  • Sunderland have won two of the last three Barclays Premier League games against Everton (W2 L1) after not winning any of the previous 16 (D4 L12).
  • Romelu Lukaku has scored three goals in four Premier League appearances against Sunderland.
  • Everton have lost just two of their last 10 Premier League away matches (W6 D2 L2).
  • The Black Cats have won just one of their last six Premier League matches at the Stadium of Light (W1 D3 L2).
  • Since August 2011, Steven Fletcher has scored 11 headed goals in the Premier League, a total only Peter Crouch can match.
  • Fletcher has scored four of Sunderland's last five goals.
  • Sunderland have scored a total of 10 own goals since the start of last season, more than any other Premier League side.

  • This is Swansea City's best start to a Barclays Premier League season (15 points after 10 matches).
  • Danny Welbeck has scored three goals in three Premier League appearances against Swansea City.
  • Arsenal have won just four Premier League matches this season and those have come against teams currently in the bottom six of the table.
  • Arsenal have scored exactly two goals in each of their last five away trips to Swansea in all competitions. That has been enough for three wins, one draw and one defeat.
  • There have been nine goals scored in the last 10 minutes of the last six meetings between Arsenal and Swansea in all competitions.
