Arsenal v West Ham United

  • Arsenal have won eight and lost none of the last 10 matches in all competitions against West Ham.
  • The Hammers have failed to score in seven of the last nine Premier League games against the Gunners.
  • West Ham were the last visiting team to win a Premier League game at Highbury and the first to win at the Emirates.
  • Arsenal have scored in the 41st and 77th minutes in each of their last two matches against West Ham.
  • There have been four penalties in the last five Premier League meetings between Arsenal and West Ham.
  • Arsenal have lost just one of their last 16 Premier League games played on Boxing Day (W10 D5 L1).
  • West Ham have lost none of their last five league games on Boxing Day (W3 D2 L0).
  • The Gunners haven't won back to back Premier League games at home since April last year and have won just four of the last 11 (W4 D4 L3).
  • Sam Allardyce has led a team to eight Premier League games away to Arsenal, and although he has never won (W0 D3 L5), his teams have only failed to score in one of those eight visits.

Fulham v Southampton

  • Fulham have won none of their last seven Boxing Day fixtures (W0 D3 L4).
  • Southampton have only won three of their last 18 Boxing Day fixtures (W3 D8 L7), but have enjoyed victories in the last two.
  • In each of the last six seasons of league football between these two sides, one of the matches has ended as a draw and the other has been a home win. Saints & Fulham drew 2-2 at St Mary's earlier in the season.
  • Southampton haven't won away at Fulham since October 1947 in any competition, a run of 14 visits without success (W0 D6 L8).

  • Newcastle have won just one of their last 20 Premier League meetings with Manchester United (W1 D5 L14), but have lost just one of the last four (W1 D2 L1).
  • Wayne Rooney has scored 10 Premier League goals against Newcastle, his joint-highest tally against any opponent.
  • Robin van Persie has scored five and assisted three goals in his last seven Premier League games against the Magpies.
  • The Red Devils have won 17 and lost just one of their last 20 Boxing Day fixtures and they have won the last eight in a row.
  • Newcastle's win over Bolton last season ended a run of nine Boxing Day games without a win for the Magpies (W1 D3 L6), thought this game will mean 10 of their last 11 games on this date have been away from home.
  • Newcastle haven't won away at Old Trafford in any competition since February 1972, a run of 30 games without a win (W0 D8 L22).
  • Half of Newcastle's Premier League goals scored away from home have been netted in the 15 minutes after half-time.
  • Manchester United have won 15 and lost just one of their last 17 Premier League games at Old Trafford.
  • The Magpies have gone nine games without a win away from home in the Premier League (W0 D4 L5).
  • All five of the goals Robin van Persie has scored at Old Trafford have been netted in the first half, four of them in the first 16 minutes of games.

Norwich City v Chelsea

  • Chelsea have won six and lost none of their last eight matches in all competitions against Norwich.
  • Grant Holt has scored in two of this three Premier League appearances against the Blues.
  • Norwich have lost just one of their last five Boxing Day fixtures (W2 D2 L1).
  • Chelsea have lost none of their last seven Boxing Day games (W3 D4 L0), but have drawn four of the last five.
  • The away side has failed to score in seven of the last 10 meetings in all competitions between Chelsea and Norwich.
  • Chelsea have gone six Premier League games on the road without a clean sheet.
  • In Chelsea's last 44 Premier League away games, the Blues have only won back to back matches on three occasions.
  • Norwich have won their last five Premier League matches at Carrow Road and all by a one-goal margin.

  • Chris Brunt has scored in his three of his last four games against QPR at Loftus Road (two for WBA, one for Sheffield Wednesday).
  • Loftus Road has seen nine goals from outside the box this season, more than any other ground in the Premier League.

  • Harry Redknapp has a record of won four, drawn three and lost one against West Brom as a coach in the Premier League.

  • Reading are unbeaten in their last eight Boxing Day matches, wining four and drawing four.
  • Swansea have won four and lost none of the last seven meetings in all competitions with Reading.
  • Swansea's last six Premier League away defeats have come when they have failed to score.
  • The Swans have only kept two clean sheets in their last 12 Premier League away games.
  • Reading have won just one of their last 11 Premier League home matches (W1 D5 L5).
  • There have been 50 goals scored in 10 matches in all competitions played at the Madejski this season.

  • James Milner has scored five goals against Sunderland, a higher haul than against any other opponent in the Premier League.
  • After a run of nine consecutive Premier League defeats against City, Sunderland have won two and lost two of the last six.
  • Sunderland are the only Premier League side who have not scored a headed goal at home this season.
  • Manchester City have won seven and lost none of their last 11 Premier League away games.
  • Sunderland have won just two of their last 12 Premier League games at the Stadium of Light (W2 D6 L4).

  • Aston Villa have won just one of their last 11 Boxing Day fixtures (W1 D4 L6).
  • Tottenham have won five and lost none of their last seven Boxing Day games.
  • Andre Villas-Boas' side are the only Premier League team to score in every away game this season.
