Real vs United: £20m To Be Wagered On Biggest Game In The World!

The eyes of the football world will descend upon the Bernabeu on Wednesday and William Hill think that at least £20m could be staked industry-wide on Real Madrid vs Manchester United game. It will be the first time that Cristiano Ronaldo faces his former club and he is 13/8 to score more goals on his own than Manchester United do on the night and 5/4 to score more goals than United's goal machine, Robin van Persie.

Cristiano Ronaldo has recently gone on record to declare his love for Manchester United and William Hill offer 7/2 that he plays for them again before his 34th birthday (1/6 he does not), while his current manager, Jose Mourinho is rumoured to be Sir Alex Ferguson's ideal choice to replace him at Manchester United. Britain's biggest bookmaker make him the 4/1 joint favourite (with David Moyes and Pep Guardiola) to be the next man at the helm of Old Trafford.

"Cristiano Ronaldo is carrying the Madrid team at the moment and it looks likely that he will shine even brighter on the world's biggest stage against his former club," said William Hill spokesman Joe Crilly.
