Catania - Verona

 

  • Catania and Verona have met only four times in Serie A so far - the Sicilians have picked up just one point from these clashes, losing three times.
  • The last meeting between these two sides in the top-flight came in 1984. Since then, Catania and Verona have met eight times in Serie B (two wins apiece, four draws).
  • Catania have lost five of their last six league fixtures, including each of the last three.
  • At home, the Sicilians have registered two wins, three draws and two losses in Serie A this season.
  • Verona secured a victory last Sunday against Atalanta, after suffering three consecutive defeats in the league.
  • Verona's last draw in Serie A came on September 25th (2-2 away to Torino). Since that game, they have won six times and lost four..
  • Andrea Mandorlini's side have lost each of their last three away league fixtures, conceding 10 goals in the process.
  • Catania have scored the fewest goals so far in this Serie A campaign, 10.

Lazio - Livorno

 

  • This will be the 35th Serie A meeting between Lazio and Livorno: the Biancocelesti lead by 20 wins to nine so far, with five draws completing the record.
  • Lazio have won each of their last five Serie A encounters with Livorno, conceding only two goals in the process.
  • Lazio have won 16 of their 17 Serie A meetings at home against Livorno, losing the other game back in February 1943.
  • Lazio and Livorno are the two Serie A sides who have picked up the fewest points in the last 10 match-days - eight for the Biancocelesti, five for the Amaranto.
  • Moreover, Vladimir Petkovic's side have also accrued the fewest points in the last five Serie A match-days.
  • Last season, after 15 match-days, Lazio were fourth in the table on 29 points, 12 more than they've managed this term after the same number of games. Indeed, this is currently the worst points difference since last season of any current Serie A side.

  • The last five encounters between AC Milan and Roma at the San Siro have seen two wins for each side and one goalless draw.
  • AC Milan are unbeaten in their last four league games (W1 D3): their longest run without a defeat so far this season.
  • However, the Rossoneri are without a win in three consecutive home league games for the first time since April 2010. The last time they failed to win four Serie A fixtures in a row at home was in 2007/08.
  • Against Fiorentina, Roma registered a win after four consecutive draws in Serie A.
  • The Giallorossi are one of the only two sides yet to lose in the top five European leagues this season, along with Bayern Munich.

  • Napoli have won three of their last four league meetings with Inter in Serie A, losing the other.
  • Napoli are unbeaten in their last seven Serie A encounters with Inter at the San Paolo (W5 D2).
  • Napoli drew 3-3 against Udinese last Saturday, after nine consecutive Serie A fixtures without one of their games ending level (W6 L3).
  • Rafa Benitez's side have conceded goals in each of their last six league fixtures.
  • Napoli are without a win in their last two home games in Serie A - the last time they failed to win for three consecutive league fixtures at the San Paolo was back in March 2010.
  • Inter are unbeaten in their last eight Serie A games (since their 0-3 defeat at home vs Roma), but have drawn each of the last three.

  • At home, Parma have won 12 of their 17 preivous meetings against Cagliari in Serie A, failing to score just once.
  • Parma are unbeaten in their last four Serie A fixtures, but have drawn three of these.
  • Roberto Donadoni's side have conceded goals in each of their last seven home league games.
  • Cagliari are unbeaten in their last four Serie A games (W2 D2), but are without a win away from home since last February (2-0 win at Pescara).

  • Last Saturday against Napoli, Udinese managed to score three goals - as many as they had netted in total in their previous seven league fixtures.
