Empoli - Palermo

  • Empoli have won five of their nine Serie A clashes against Palermo (D2 L2), a joint-record versus all Serie A sides.
  • Palermo have failed to find the net in five of the last seven Serie A clashes against Empoli, including the last three.
  • Palermo have won just one of their four Serie A visits to face Empoli, losing each of the last three.
  • Empoli are winless in 10 Serie A games (D5, L5): their longest winless run in the top flight since February 2006.
  • Meanwhile, Palermo have not won any of their last eight league matches (D3, L5), scoring only one goal over the last four match-days.
  • The Tuscans have both scored and conceded goals in each of their last five Serie A home games.
