Cesena v Roma

 

  • Cesena's last win against Roma in Serie A came in January 1982. Since then, they have drawn six times and lost nine times against the Giallorossi in the league.
  • Roma have won their last four league meetings against Cesena, scoring on average of 2.8 goals per game.
  • However, Roma have scored more than one goal in only one of their last 12 Serie A visits to Cesena - it was in their last away game against the Romagnoli, in a 3-2 win in May 2012.
  • Cesena have now recorded a three-game unbeaten streak for the first time in Serie A this season (one win, two draws).
  • Moreover, the Bianconeri are unbeaten in their last four home league games (W2 D2), their best unbeaten run on home soil in Serie A since April 2011.
  • Roma are without a win in their last five Serie A games (four draws followed by a 0-2 home defeat against Sampdoria): it is their longest winless streak since February 2013.
