Shrews enjoy home comforts

Shrewsbury beat Bournemouth 4-1 to move up to third in the table and get their promotion hopes back on track following their first loss at home the previous week by Port Vale.

In the League Two outright betting the Shrews were cut from 3/1 to 9/4. Peter Taylor's Wycombe (11/2 from 9/2) remain top following a 1-1 draw at Adams Park against Darlington (9/1 from 10/1).

Bury (9/1 from 12/1) moved up to second and overtook Dagenham and Redbridge (18/1 from 14/1) in the process of defeating them 3-1. Bradford (5/1 from 4/1) could only manage a 2-2 draw at home to ten man Gillingham (12/1 from 16/1).

One of the most entertaining games of the weekend took place at the Don Valley Stadium where Barnet emerged victorious in a seven goal thriller against Rotherham.

After going without a win in the their first seven matches, Barnet have now won three out of their last four.

Fellow strugglers Grimsby are still winless but picked up another point, this time away at Exeter, with their fifth draw of the season.

A £10 double on Bury and Shrewsbury would have paid returns of £55.27.
