Swansea continue to amaze
Swansea City pulled off a stunning scalp in the form of Arsenal as they moved back into the top half of the table and William Hill are offering 4/1 that they manage to finish in the top 10 this season.
Brendan Rodgers has performed miracles in South Wales and he is 7/1 to win the manager of the year award.
"Swansea continue to confound their detractors who were predicting a tricky time for them this season," said Hill's spokesman Joe Crilly. "They hardly spent any money when they came up yet are still managing to mix it with the big boys in the top half of the table."
Arsenal's slim hopes of winning the league suffered another dent and they are 80/1 with Hill's to win the league and their odds to finish in the top four are also on the drift, with Hills making them 7/4 to finish in the Champions League spots.
On a positive note for Arsenal Robin Van Persie continued his fine form by netting Arsenal's first and he is Even money to finish with golden boot this season. The Gooners are 1/12 to finish in the top 6.
Arsene Wenger 5/2 to no longer be manager of Arsenal come the star of next season and with Robin van Persie's contract expiring at the end of the 2013 season, Hills make him 7/4 to no longer be an Arsenal player on the first day of next season.
Arsenal are in a bit of a rut this season and they could do with bringing in a few new faces and Hills offer 12/1 that Mr Wenger signs at least three new players in this January's transfer window. Although, they are odds on, at 8/11, to sign no new faces.
