Tyne-Wear rivals to face off
One of the highlights of the Premier League weekend is the Tyne-Wear derby. Newcastle make the short trip to the Stadium Light to play Sunderland. Joe Kinnear will be looking for another positive result after his relatively good start.
Sunderland have not won a match against their fierce local rivals for eight years. In the build-up to the match all the talk has been about Joey Barton's possible return to first team action following his well documented troubles.
Sunderland are 6/5 favourites to win the match with the Magpies available at 12/5 and the draw at 11/5. Derby games are often tight and as Sunderland have never kept a clean sheet against Newcastle in the Premier League era. A score draw looks like the bet, possibly 1-1 which is available at 5/1.
Elsewhere in the Premier League on Saturday Blackburn host Middlesbrough in the late kick off, Man Utd travel to Merseyside to play Wayne Rooney's old club Everton and in the solitary three o'clock kick off, in the battle of the promoted sides, it is West Brom v Hull.
A £5 treble on draws in the Tyne-Wear derby, Everton v Man Utd and Blackburn v Middlesbrough looks like a tempting bet. Your £5 stake would pay you returns of £195.
