Van the man to sink Fulham?

Manchester United (8/13) hold a 7 point lead over their cross-city rivals and will be striving to make it 10 by the time Manchester City kick off on Sunday.   Fulham (5/1, Draw 13/5) will hope their midweek win over West Ham will prove to be the turning point of their season.

The recent FA Cup meeting between the two sides showcased United's strength in depth and they are likely to make sweeping changes to the side that won 4-1.  They are in title winning form taking 32 points from their last 36.

As usual Robin Van Persie is the favourite to score the first goal for United.  The prolific Dutchman is 11/4 to score the First or last goal, and is 8/13 to score at anytime.  With 22 goals this season he is well on the way to his most successful season of his career.   We have an enhanced Wincast offer on Robin Van Persie to score at anytime in a Manchester United win at 6/4.

Wayne Rooney scored in the cup game and added another 2 in the midweek match at Southampton, proving that there is more to United's forward line that the Dutchman.  Should he score against Fulham we go (9/2 first/last, 6/5 anytime).

Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson has confirmed that Rio Ferdinand (40/1 first/last, 16/1 anytime) will definitely play given that the Red Devils have over a week until their next fixture and Jonny Evans (40/1 first/last, 16/1 anytime) has also returned to training on Friday to boost their defense but Ashley Young is still injured.

It will please Fergie to be getting some experienced defenders back into the squad.  The Red Devils have fallen behind in half he games that they have played this term, but winning 9 of them.  Indeed they went behind to Fulham in their first home game this season, only to win the game 3-2.  They have the second best record in Premier League history for "comeback points" bettered only by Newcastle's 34 in 2001-02.  United to win from behind is 6/1.

Fulham recruited a few interesting names in the transfer window, Urby Emmanuelson (14/1 first/last, 11/2 anytime) and Emmanuel Frimpong (25/1 first/last, 8/1 anytime) among them. What better way for new players to make an immediate impact than against United?  But fellow deadline-day signings Eyong Enoh and Stanislav Manolev will miss out as they are still waiting for their work permits to be processed.  Our Wincast offer for Fulham is Bryan Ruiz to score and Fulham to win, enhanced to 12/1.

Damien Duff has seven assists this season - only three players in the Premier League have more - if he can get on the end of an assist himself we will give you (16/1 first/last, 6/1 anytime).

One man that Manchester United will not have to fret about is former player Dimitar Berbatov, as the Bulgarian is unfit due to a hamstring injury.  He has scored on 3 of the last 4 occasions that he has played in this fixture, with all those goals coming in a Manchester United shirt.

On the defensive front Fulham have not kept a clean-sheet for the last 10 Premier league games and to manage that feat against United we go (5/1).

The head to head stats make miserable reading for Fulham fans.  United have won 4 of their last 5 League games opposed to Fulhams 1 from 5.  Manchester united have won 6 and drawn just 1 of their previous 7 matches against Fulham in all competitions.  In 23 previous Premier League meetings between the two sides, Fulham have only won on 3 occasions.

William Hill will as usual be offering our full range of in-play betting right upto the final minute.
