Villas Boas Rescued But Rovers Kean To Give Steve The Elbow?

Blackburn were unable to build on their victory at Old Trafford and were promptly defeated at home by Stoke. William Hill make Steve Kean's men 8/13 to go down with Bolton 8/15 favourites and Wigan 4/7 while they are 11/4 to finish bottom.

Frank Lampard salvaged a victory for Chelsea and Hills make them 9/4 second favourites to win the Premier League without the two Manchester sides. The three points against Wolves has eased some of the pressure on manager, Andre Villas-Boas and Hills make him odds on, at 8/13, to still be at Chelsea on the first day of next season. While AVB was met with cheers, two of his counterparts, Steve Kean and Alex McLeish, were met with jeers and Hills make them 8/13 (Kean) and Even money (McLeish) to have left their positions before the start of the 2012/13 season. Kean is 10/11 favourite to be the second Premier League manager to leave his job.

"Just as Andre Villas-Boas looks doomed, he manages to claw his way back from the brink and our odds hint that he may well be there come next season," said Hill's spokesman Joe Crilly. "Unfortunately, we may not be able to say the same about Steve Kean and Alex McLeish."
