Will they stay or will they go now?
The future of a number of high profile Premier League stars is still in doubt as the season looms large on the horizon following the end of the World Cup. William Hill have opened a book on whether Messrs Cole A; Fabregas, Gerrard, Mascherano and Torres will stick or twist at their current clubs and make Mascherano the most likely to go, Gerrard the most likely to stay.
'Decision-day must be approaching for all these players who can no longer hide behind the excuse of concentrating on the World Cup to explain why they have yet to commit themselves to staying where they are, or announcing they want to leave' said Hill's spokesman Graham Sharpe.
A player that has definitely left his employers is Joe Cole. After leaving Chelsea he is being courted by a number of suitors, both in the Premier League and abroad.
With Harry Redknapp encouraging speculation that Spurs are keen to sign Cole, William Hill make the former Chelsea star 5/4 to join up with Harry at White Hart Lane.'Harry is not being over-subtle in trying to lure Joe to Spurs and he generally gets his man' said Hill's spokesman Graham Sharpe.
