William Hill settle on Rafa as Chelsea boss
William Hill will now be settling the market for ‘Next Permanent Chelsea Manager’ after new information has emerged that Rafa Benitez may have been offered a one-year contract with the Stanford Bridge club.
Our rules and market information stipulate clearly that a permanent contract must be offered, but we concede that a lack of clarity over the type and length of contract offered leaves many of our customers in uncertainty.
All customers that placed bets prior to Wednesday’s announcement will be paid out in full on Rafa Benitez being appointed the next Chelsea manager. If another individual is offered a permanent contract of at least 12-months during Benitez’s interim appointment, we will also settle this individual as a winner.

If no official clarification is given an individual who is responsible for picking the first team for a period of one year will be deemed the permanent manager for betting purposes.
