Young set to shine for England
The England match will be Rio's first fixture since he was stripped as captain of the England team. He will line-up alongside the new captain Terry in a game that is important to England and Capello.
The players may be in a holiday mood but this is a Euro 2012 Qualifier and the fans and management will expect nothing less than three points against an average Switzerland side.
England are 4/11 to win the clash, the draw is 10/3 and the away win is 17/2. Capello has been experimenting in recent fixtures but you can expect a strong side against the Swiss. Darrent Bent will be looking to make an impression and he has been on-form for the Villans in the second half of the season.
He is 10/3 to score the first goal and that is too short for me, too often he has been the nearly man for England and he cannot be trusted to find the net. Lampards look a better punt for first goalscorer at 5/1.
He takes all the set-pieces and England may need a free-kick to get past the Swiss. Lampard has not had a stellar season but he has not played much due to injury and he should be fresh for the game.
Ashley Young (6/4, anytime scorer) could be worth a flutter, he will not be so desperate to swap his boots for flip-flops and in the absence of Rooney and Gerrard, he can find the back of the net.
England may be weak in-front of goal and you can get 10/11 for under 2.5 goals and they would be more than happy with just a one goal victory.
Switzerland so not look fantastic in attack and England are 4/7 to keep a clean sheet. Rio and Terry are friends off the pitch and I do not reckon there will be any animosity between the pair.
Both teams to score is 6/5 and Switzerland's main attacking threat could come from Mehmedi. The Swiss manager has dropped their stalwart, Hakan Yakin. Hitzfield's squad choice was limited after the retirement of Frei and Streller.
They have named three newcomers for the clash and they would settle for a draw. We have a Match Winner for the clash and you can take advantage of 3/1 for an England substitute to score a goal anytime.
The likes of Downing, Zamora and Crouch could all feature from the bench and if England are not in command in the second half or if they have failed to take their opportunites, Capello will not be afraid to make any changes.
England should win this match easily but they are a frustrating team. The players' morale should be good although Rio is no longer captain and if you fancy a punt, back under the goals at 10/11.
