Golf's Golden Pair Tiger & Rory Still Struggling!
They may be the highest rated golfers on the planet, but Rory McIlroy and Tiger Woods continue to struggle to perform on the course this year.
Both failed to make the cut in Dubai and now the duo suffered further embarrassment in Arizona, when both were beaten in the first round of the World Matchplay. The Dynamic duo are both chalked up to play at the Honda Classic next week and William Hill are 7/2 that they miss the cut again.
Both players have too much talent for their respective slumps to continue for too long, but with the opening major of the season coming up in just a few weeks, they will need to get their games in shape if they are to be in contention at Augusta.
William Hill spokesman, Rupert Adams, said, "The golfing world is waiting with bated breath for the two marquee players to spark into life this year. Rory appears to be struggling with his new clubs, and Tiger is just struggling. We make them both just 7/2 chances to miss the cut at the Honda next week. These odds would have been nearer double that a year ago."
