Kenny Perry strongly fancied for the Challenge
This year's Chevron World Challenge is the 10th anniversary of the event and will be played at the Sherwood Country Club in Southern California with some of the PGA's biggest stars in the field.
The Tiger Woods hosted event has a field made up of the top 11 available players from the Official World Golf Rankings in addition to the defending champion and four exemption players selected from the Tiger Woods Foundation which provides stimulus for youngsters to "dream big and to set specific goals to achieve their dreams." www.tigerwoodsfoundation.org
In the betting for the Chevron World Challenge, there is no clear favourite but there has been movement in the market.
From the outset Anthony Kim was the shortest price in the betting, however as the week has progressed we have seen a large market shift on Kenny Perry.
Currently 13/2 favourite from a first show price of 16/1 the value bus has passed by and if you're not already aboard, it may be a little late, even for each way value.
Vijay Singh and Anthony Kim are second favourites in the pricing at 7/1 followed by Camilo Villegas at 15/2 and Jim Furyk 8/1.
The tournament promises to be a good deal closer than last year's event when Tiger got home by seven clear shots, despite having just returned from a seven week layoff from competitive golf.
