More Money For Mcllroy As Tiger Tumbles!

William Hill have seen a monster gamble on Rory Mcllroy winning the WGC Bridgestone, with bets of up to £10,000 accepted on the Northern Irishman, who has been cut from 14/1 to 11/1 with Hills. Conversely the only markets associated with Tiger than have seen money are those that suggest he will be shocking and Hills have cut the price of him finishing out of the top ten from 5/6 to 8/15. Hills have trimmed the price of Tiger Woods first round being 73 or worse from 2/1 to 7/4. Rory was 4/5 to finish higher up the leaderboard than Tiger and after considerable support he is 8/13 with Tiger out to 13/10.

"Our golf punters have written off Rory's performance at the Irish Open as a blip and have come piling in for him today. Our biggest bet on Mcllroy is £10,000 whilst our biggest for Tiger is £400," said Hill's spokesman Rupert Adams.
