Caron from Elgin pipped leader Ian on the last leg as Anthony Kim won her £332.50 to take the top spot by just £15. Congratulations to all our winners whose free bets have been credited to their accounts.
HOW TO USE YOUR FREE BET: Add a selection to your slip and the free bet will be available to select from the blue dropdown box at the bottom of your slip to fund the bet. Please note that the total amount of your free bet must be used as a win single bet, i.e. you won’t “get change” if you enter a stake of less than free bet amount. Round 1 - The Honda Classic
You've all kicked off this round of Swingers with a bang! Over 20% of you picked the Honda Classic winner Camilo Villegas but even the £332.50 that he returned for the £10 each-way bet was not enough to even feature in the prize money! Our first two placed entrants picked the winner and two placed players. Here's how the result paid out.
1 - Camilo Villegas (25/1) £332.50
2 - Anthony Kim (40/1) £110.00
3 - Justin Rose (80/1) £210.00
T4 - Paul Casey (18/1) £55.00
T4 - Vijay Singh (50/1) £135.00
Round 2 - CA Championship
Ernie Els ended a two-year run without a win by winning at Doral and earned his backers £432.50 for the £10 each-way bet.
1 - Ernie Els (33/1) £432.50
2 - Charl Schwartzel (66/1) £175.00
T3 - Matt Kuchar (80/1) £210.00
T3 - Martin Kaymer (33/1) £92.50
T3 - Padraig Harrington (33/1) £92.50
Round 3 - Transitions Championship
Paul from Wigton backed up his Week 1 performance with the winner and a profitable place in Nick Watney. Had he placed his own three £10 each-way bets this weekend he would have profited £445.00 but, as it is he'll have to settle with being at the top of the Masters Countdown Leaderboard
1 - Jim Furyk (30/1) £395.00
2 - KJ Choi (25/1) £72.50
3 - Bubba Watson (100/1) £260.00
4 - Nick Watney (40/1) £110.00
5 - Retief Goosen (25/1) £72.50
Round 4 - Arnold Palmer Invitational
Ernie Els is really warming up nicely for the Masters with a second win in three weeks but the real money was by the place betting on the likes of 150/1 shot Edoardo Molinari and 200/1 Chris Couch who would have earned people (had anyone picked him) a whopping £510.00. So it's not all over, there every chance one big result can shoot you up the leaderboard.
1 - Ernie Els (18/1) £245.00
T2 - Edoardo Molinari (150/1) £385.00
T2 - Kevin Na (90/1) £235.00
T4 - Retief Goosen (25/1) £72.50
T4 - Chris Couch (200/1) £510.00
Round 5 - Shell Houston Open
Big payouts on the likes of Graham DeLaet and Shaun Micheel, just for getting a place, could have turned the competition on its head - unfortunately, not one person picked either of those, nor Vaughn Taylor but we could easily have had a winner come through right from the back of the field.
1 - Anthony Kim (25/1) £332.50
2 - Vaughn Taylor (150/1) £385.00
T3 - Charl Schwartzel (50/1) £135.00
T3 - Graham DeLaet (300/1) £760.00
5 - Shaun Micheel (250/1) £635.00
