Final Grand National field published - William Hill betting
Synchronised is set to line up as part of the 40-strong field of John Smith's Grand National contenders as the final declarations were revealed on Thursday, with the Gold Cup hero 7-1 favourite with William Hill to complete the rare Cheltenham-Aintree double.
Junior, who has been at the forefront of the betting since last year's race, is quoted at 11-1 alongside West End Rocker and Giles Cross.
Reigning champion Ballabriggs is priced at 12-1 in his bid to become the first horse since Red Rum to record back-back-victories in the Aintree showpiece.
William Hill spokeswoman Lucy Rhodes said "The final field has been unveiled for the World's most famous race, and Gold Cup hero Synchronised spearheads a stellar line-up, with the memory of the heavily gambled-on Don't Push It for the same connections two years ago still ringing strong in the bookies' memories"
