Barry Geraghty & Paddy Brennan give their Cheltenham Festival Day 2 predictions

Barry Geraghty was the in-form jockey on day one of the Festival, securing victory on Forpadydeplasterer in the Arkle and then snatching a scintillating Champion Hurdle with Punjabi.

Geraghty is looking forward to his rides on day two at Cheltenham and spoke to William Hill’s Niall Hannity about his mounts.

Mad Max is a horse he particularly likes in the Ballymore Properties Hurdle.

“He’s a great chance. He’s won two bumpers and two hurdles in four starts. He’s very decent.”

Top-jockey Paddy Brennan has some superb rides on day two of the Cheltenham Festival and he discusses his mounts with William Hill’s Niall Hannity.

Brennan rides Ballyfitz in the RSA Chase at 2.40pm, but is wary of Massini’s Maguire’s challenge.

“I think with the drying ground, Massini’s Maguire is very interesting. He’s run very well in all the trial races and he’s a Cheltenham winner.”
