Camelot Confirmed For Arc Attack!
After a dramatic build-up to Sunday's Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe, Camelot has this morning been confirmed as an intended runner, with Frankie Dettori taking the ride aboard the triple Classic winner in the absence of regular rider Joseph O'Brien.
Camelot remains 7-2 second-favourite for Europe's most prestigious horse race, behind Japanese sensation Orfevre at 11-4.
With Great Heavens a possibly supplemented entry following the defection of Nathaniel, William Hill have inserted the Irish Oaks heroine into the betting at 14-1.
William Hill spokeswoman Lucy Rhodes said "The appearance of Camelot in Europe's most prestigious Flat race has certainly turned things around after the disappointing situations with leading contenders Danedream and Nathaniel, and it wouldn't be a surprise should he soon displace Orfevre's favouritism following today's confirmation"
