Catch-up with Paul Mulrennan on William Hill Radio
Paul Mulrennan is reported to be in good form after an operation to mend his broken right leg.
He was unseated from the seven furlong Musselburgh maiden winner Sound Advice shortly after the line on Friday June 17th and it is not clear how many rides he will miss this season.
Here at William Hill, we are fortunate enough to have this experienced and renowned jockey on William Hill Radio all day.
For those who are not so familiar with the jockey, he has booted home twenty-seven winners this season prior to the injury and he had the winning ride on Dandino in a Group Two at Newmarket in April.
The James Given trained Dandino was well-backed and the 7-4 favourite got back up on the winning line against Henry Cecil's Native Ruler in a fantastically tight and well-fought finish.
He also had the winning ride on the colt at Epsom on Derby day last June. He is also a Classic winner albeit not in England, he was successful in the Calcutta Derby in 2010. With winners on the international stage, Derby Day and at Royal Ascot, his profile has most definitely been boosted.
Mulrennan also has another fantastic claim to fame, few people will be able to recall a husband and wife fighting out the finish of a race from the saddle. He managed to beat his wife Adele in a photo finish in a claimer at Catterick and they both picked up bans for using their whips with excessive frequency.
Mulrennan is one of the best in the business and he will give you more fantastic news from across the racing world. He can keep you company whilst hopefully the winning bets roll in!
He will be giving you his insight on the runners at Brighton, Newton Abbot, Ripon Windsor and Roscommon today. He may even tip you up a winner! So stay with William Hill radio and the Home of Betting to listen to one of the most respected jockeys in the industry.
