Ladies' Day yellow peril for bookies!
William Hill's betting on the colour of the Queen's Ladies' Day hat was subject to a shake up for the second day in a row when Her Majesty donned a pink number on Wednesday of Royal Ascot.
Having previously been the 3-1 favourite, pink has been catapulted all the way out to 12-1 by the firm, who have slashed yellow to 2-1 favouritism after consistent support, despite it being the selection for Trooping The Colour last week.
Purple/lilac and green are the joint second favourites at 5-1.
William Hill spokeswoman Lucy Rhodes said "Her Majesty caught us on the hop by springing blue on day one and she's made it a double whammy today with the pink pick. Could yellow make a second appearance in a week?"
