Mikael D'Haguenet 7-4 favourite for Drinmore; 25-1 for Gold Cup
William Hill have installed Mikael D'Haguenet as their 7-4 favourite for this weekend's Bar One Racing Drinmore Novice Chase at Fairyhouse.
The talented six-year-old hasn't run since the 2009, but connections are thrilled with the home form of the Grade 1 winning hurdler.
Noble Prince and Jessies Dream are two obvious threats to the favourite, while Noel Meade will be hoping to land successive Drinmore's when he sends out the recent Punchestown winner Realt Dubh.
Other leading contenders include Head Of The Posse, Bostons Angel, and Kakagh.
‘Mikael D'Haguenet looks like he has the world at his feet,' said Hills spokesman Tony Kenny ‘We've already taken a good few bets on him to win this year's Gold Cup - and those punters will be hoping for a big performance from Willie Mullins' star this Sunday.'
