The unluckiest lucky 15 punter ever?
A William Hill customer from East London missed a bumper £731,895.15 win - despite picking Monday's infamous 200-1 Taunton winner in his accumulator.
The Hackney-based punter also picked two further 10-1 winners but sadly his fourth selection failed at 40-1.
The good news is the three winning selections returned just over £16,000, and despite being early January he is the firm favourite to win the William Hill's ‘Unluckiest Punter of the Year' award.
William Hill spokeswoman Lucy Rhodes said "It's a bittersweet tale of betting for this punter who managed to pick two 10/1 winners and astonishing 200/1 shot - if the final horse had come in he would definitely be in the top 10 biggest winners on horse racing in our history."
William Hill's ‘Any Horse To Win With An SP Greater than 200/1 Before The End Of 2012?' special has been cut to 100-1 from 200-1 following strong interest.
