A bumper 200 contenders remain in the entries list for the William Hill Ayr Gold Cup after the latest forfeit stage on Tuesday.
Just eight defected from the £120,000 Heritage Handicap, the most notable being dual William Hill Great St Wilfrid heroine Pepper Lane.
Duke Of Firenze, Hawkeyethenoo, Prodigality and Van Ellis remain 14-1 co-favourites with the betting sponsors, with Fulbright, Gordon Lord Byron, Gramercy, Picabo next in at 16-1.
The Pearl Bloodstock-owned Dubawi Sound has today been cut to 16-1 from 20-1, while Pearl Ice - who formerly ran under the same ownership - has also been an early mover, into 20-1 from 25-1 last week.
William Hill spokeswoman Lucy Rhodes said "The early money has surrounded the lightly-raced four-year-old pairing of Pearl Ice and Dubawi Sound. The latter looks particularly interesting with his winning form over seven furlongs and he ran well after a late gamble in a Listed race at York last time out"
