Betfair Chase Insider Trading
Haydock's fantastic Saturday jumps card is highlighted by a stunning renewal of the Betfair Chase at 3:00.
As we expected, Gold Cup hero Bobs Worth has been incredibly popular, seeing over 80 per cent of all money staked in our antepost market. As a result, Nicky Henderson's best staying chaser is a major five-figure loser for us.
Silviniaco Conti won a weaker renewal of this race last season and looked to be running well in the Gold Cup before falling 3 out. Paul Nicholls' stable star has seen plenty of money overnight and would be another significant loss for us.
With eight top class runners, this race is proving popular with each-way punters and two horses in particular have seen the majority of each-way money.
Tidal Bay is a 12 year old with genuine Gold Cup aspirations this season and his chase form from last season looks rock solid and if he jumps well he will be flying at the finish to grab at least a place.
The other each-way bet for this race is 2011 Gold Cup winner, Long Run. He will need to improve from his poor performance in the Charlie Hall but is sure to come on from that run and has all the class to grab at least a place.
