International sorts the Menorah from the boys
A thrilling Cheltenham International meeting was crammed full of so many spectacular performances, punters were left drooling for those most eagerly-anticipated four days in March.
Master Minded, Time For Rupert, Sam Winner... the list goes on of all the mesmerising displays fans were treated to on Saturday.
However the spotlight was most definitely focused upon Menorah - yet another Supreme performance saw him thrash rising star Cue Card and unbeaten Silviniaco Conti - Philip Hobbs' charge swiping 7-2 Champion Hurdle favouritism from 9-1 - consequently overthrowing the mighty mantle of Binocular, with William Hill easing reigning champ out to 5-1.
Lucy Rhodes, spokeswoman for William Hill, said: "2010 has beckoned in a new generation of Champion Hurdlers - spearheaded by Cheltenham specialist Menorah. Philip Hobbs - ever the National Hunt stalwart - can be guaranteed to skilfully guide this Supreme treasure straight to Champion echelons".
