November's Sporting Preview
After the entertaining sporting month that was October, we now move into November for another exciting few weeks of your favourite sports!
The Melbourne Cup - held on 5th November - is arguably the highlight of the month in terms of a single horse race, but the biggest meeting on the American calendar, The Breeders Cup weekend, begins on 1st November and finishes a day later. As well covering the other eleven Breeders Cup races, we also offer betting on the biggest three: The Classic, Mile and Turf.
Of course, the UK and Irish Jumps season begins on Saturday 2nd November with the Charlie Hall chase at Wetherby. As well as continuing to offer Best Odds Guaranteed on all races, we also give you daily previews, radio podcasts, video features, early morning Pricewise coverage and Big Race Tips to ensure that our punters get the best information possible.
With Sebastian Vettel confirmed as F1 World Champion - his fourth in in a row - at the soon to be defunct Indian GP, and Red Bull confirmed as F1 constructors champions for 2013, all that's left to decide is which drivers go where in 2014 and who'll win the three remaining races.
Indeed, all three of the F1 races left on the 2013 calendar take place in November - starting with the Abu Dhabi GP on the 1st and concluding with the classic Brazilian GP in Interlagos, Sao Paulo on the 19th. Of course, we've got them all covered here at The Home of Betting.
After England successfully retained The Ashes earlier this summer, they now travel to Australia for yet another series, which begins on November 21. Can England win down under or will the Aussie's reclaim the crown they so badly want? Click here to bet on our wide range of Ashes markets.
Having started at the end of October, the Rugby league World Cup runs throughout November, concluding with the final from London's Wembley stadium on the 30th. Will nine-time winners Australia reclaim the crown they lost to New Zealand in 2008 or can the kiwis retain?
From November 4-11, the ATP World Tour Finals take place at London's O2 arena. The top eight highest ranked players gain entry to this season ending tournament, though Britain's Andy Murray - who pulled out through injury - will not be there. Currently, Nadal, Djokovic, Ferrer, Del Potro and Berdych have been confirmed as participants, with Roger Federer, amazingly, only on the brink of qualification at the time of writing. Whoever else makes the final eight, it's sure to be a fantastic event!
November also sees tennis' greatest international event, The Davis Cup, conclude between the 15th and 17th as Serbia host Czech Republic at Belgrade Arena in (you've guessed it) Belgrade, Serbia. Will Djokovic lead the 2010 winners to a second crown or can Berdych and Stepanek sensationally retain their 2012 title? Click here for our full range of tennis betting.
Premier League, Football League, La Liga, Bundesliga, Serie A, Scottish Premiership, UEFA Europa League, Champions League and many other leagues across the world continue in the eleventh month of the year. All day, every day, William Hill TV also continues to stream a wide range of matches from across the world. Click here to view our full range of Football betting.
Ever popular with punters, international rugby union continues with the end of year tests, the autumn internationals. With a staggering 37 tests set to take place across the world throughout November, it's a must see month for fans of the oval ball. Click here to view our rugby union betting.
Finally, Golf and darts fans needn't feel left out, though, as we've got the OHL Classic from Mayakoba, Mexico and the William Hill Grand Slam of Darts. Can defending champion Raymond van Barneveld - as inconsistent as ever - pull off an unlikely defence of his title or will Michael van Gerwen - the 2012 runner up - claim his first Grand Slam of Darts crown?
Whatever your sport, whatever your fancy, we've got it all covered here at the Home of Betting, so make your picks, place your bets and sit back to enjoy what should be a fantastic sporting month in November!
