Congratulations to Red Bull, but drivers' goes down to the wire
Red Bull sewed up the Constructors' Championship at Brazil this weekend, however, we are no closer to ascertaining who will lift the Drivers' Championship.
Sebastian Vettel won today to put himself right back in the mix, while Mark Webber and Fernando Alonso rounded off the top three.
Alonso is eight points ahead of Mark Webber and is the 8/11 favourite with William Hill to claim the title in Abu Dhabi.
Webber is 7/4 while his team-mate Sebastian Vettel is 7/1.
Lewis Hamilton has to overturn a 24 point deficit to win the title and is priced as the 100/1 outsider of the four.
"Had Massa not let Alonso pass in Hockenheim there would be only a point in it, as it stands, however, Alonso is in pole position to lift the Drivers' Championship but it is by no means over with Red Bull likely to push him all the way," said Hill's spokesman Joe Crilly.
William Hill F1 Odds:
F1 Drivers' Championship Outright: 8/11 Fernando Alonso; 7/4 Mark Webber; 7/1 Sebastian Vettel; 100/1 Lewis Hamilton
