Formula 1: Who can win and how?
As the F1 world prepares for the final weekend of the season at the Yas Marina circuit in Abu Dhabi, the drivers' championship is still wide open.
It can all get a bit confusing as to who will walk away with the drivers title on Sunday evening with so many permatations available among the remaining four contenders; Fernando Alonso, Mark Webber, Sebastian Vettel and Lewis Hamilton.
Available points from the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix:
1st - 25pts
2nd - 18pts
3rd - 15pts
4th - 12pts
5th - 10pts
6th - 8pts
7th - 6pts
8th - 4pts
10th - 1pt
(If drivers are tied on points, positions are decided on results countback, first comparing wins and then - if wins are equal - second places and so on)
In simple terms;
Lewis Hamilton: cannot win championship if finishing P2 or lower.
Sebastian Vettel: cannot win championship if finishing P3 or lower.
Mark Webber: cannot win the championship if finishing P6 or lower.

If: Fernando Alonso finishes P1 or P2: Alonso takes the title on points
Alonso P3, P4 or P5: Webber needs to win
Alonso P6, Webber needs P2
Alonso P7 or P8: Webber needs P3
Alonso P9: Webber P4
Alonso P10 or no points: Webber P5
Fernando Alonso v Sebastian Vettel
If: Fernando Alonso P1, P2, P3 or P4, beats Vettel on points
Alonso P5, P6, P7, P8 : Vettel needs to win
Alonso P9, P10: Vettel needs P2
Mark Webber v Sebastian Vettel
If: Mark Vettel P1: Webber cannot win
Vettel P2: Webber P4 or better
Must win, Fernando Alonso P11 or worse, Webber P6 or worse, and Vettel P3 or worse.
