F1 News: Betting is all about Red Bull in Japan
The Red Bull cars have dominated the first two practice sessions in Japan and Sebastian Vettel has been cut from 15/8 to 11/8 with William Hill to win the Japanese Grand Prix.
Mark Webber has moved to second favourite cut from 7/2 to 11/4 to claim maximum points with Sebastian Vettel 11/10 to qualify fastest, team-mate Mark Webber priced at 5/2.
Lewis Hamilton fared a lot worse than the Red Bull pair in practice, crashing out in session 1 and Hills are offering 25/1 that he does the same in qualifying.
Red Bull performed so well in practice that they are now 4/9 red hot favourites to be the Winning Constructor in Japan with Ferrari the 3/1 second favourites.
With over 95% of bets on the Winning Constructor for this weekend have been for Red Bull.
Mark Webber is the 7/4 outright favourite to win the Drivers Championship, having shared favouritism with Fernando Alonso before practice.
"It is all about the Red Bull cars this weekend. Rain forecast could turn qualifying into somewhat of a gamble, but our punters appear confident in the quality of the Red Bull car and the ability of their drivers," said Hill's spokesman Joe Crilly.
