F1: Top Price Brits have bookies sweating

Rain played a major part in practice at Silverstone with many drivers taking it easy.

But the weather is set to clear up by Saturday qualifying and William Hill make Sebastian Vettel their 4/9 favourite to start Sunday's race on pole position, while Mark Webber is 4/1.

Fernando Alonso and Lewis Hamilton are both 17/2 with Jenson Button 16/1.

Vettel is the 5/6 favourite to win the race on Sunday with his team mate 9/2.

Hills are enhancing the price of both Lewis Hamilton and Jenson Button, offering 13/2 and 11/1 respectively.

Lewis Hamilton is 2/5 to finish ahead of his fellow countryman and team mate, Jenson Button (7/4 to beat Hamilton).

"We are really taking a risk by enhancing the prices of Lewis and Jenson," said Hill's spokesman Joe Crilly. "They are always well backed particularly at their home Grand Prix,"

Following his antics at Silverstone last year, Hills are offering 100/1 that Mark Webber wins the race and says "not bad for a number two driver."

Hills offer 16/1 that Hamilton and Button finish first and second in any order, while the other British driver, Paul Di Resta, is 15/8 to finish in the points, although at 500/1 is a huge outsider to win the race.
