Germans 5/1 to fill Hockenheim front row

After two rain hit practice sessions in Hockenheim, William Hill make Sebastian Vettel the 13/8 favourite to qualify fastest and also offer 5/1 that there are two Germans on the front row of the grid for the start of Sunday's race.

There is undoubtedly a lot of interest in Germany about this race given that there are five German drivers taking part and with Sebastian Vettel 9/4 to win the race and Schmacher and Roberg 20/1, it is 6/4 for any German driver to win the race.

"There was not much time for any team to get the results they wanted during practice and so it remains pretty much ‘as you were' at the top of the race winner betting although Vettel is now out on his own to qualify fastest," said Hill's spokesman Joe Crilly.

After outperforming Lewis Hamilton during both sessions today, Jenson Button has been cut slightly from 18/1 to 14/1 to win the race.

Fastest Qualifier: 13/8 Sebastian Vettel; 4/1 Lewis Hamilton; 7/1 Fernando Alonso; 7/1 Mark Webber; 12/1 Kimi Raikkonen; 12/1 Romain Grosjean; 16/1 Michael Schumacher; 16/1 Nico Rosberg; 20/1 Jenson Button; 50/1 BAR

Race winner: 9/4 Sebastian Vettel; 5/1 Fernando Alonso; 11/2 Lewis Hamilton; 13/2 Mark Webber; 10/1 Kimi Raikkonen; 14/1 Jenson Button; 18/1 Romain Grosjean; 20/1 BAR
