Hamilton shows speed to split Red Bulls in Germany

McLaren odds slashed for victory in Germany!

Lewis Hamilton split the pairing of Mark Webber and Sebastian Vettel and William Hill have cut his odds from 15/2 to 5/2 to win the German Grand Prix.

Both Red Bull drivers are offered at 9/4.

Jenson Button was disappointing, finishing qualifying in seventh place and he has been pushed out from 16/1 to 20/1 for victory at the Nurburgring.

For either Jenson Button OR Lewis Hamilton to win is offered at 2/1.

"Lewis had his best lap of the season today to split the Red Bulls and put himself on the front row of the grid and his odds have tumbled for victory in Germany," said Hill's spokesman Joe Crilly. "Before the weekend, Lewis claimed that the car may not perform in qualifying but would be fast enough for the race. If that is the case his rivals should be very worried!"

Hills are offering a number of F1 match bets pitting the two drivers from each team against each other and make Mark Webber 10/11 to finish ahead of Sebastian Vettel (4/5) while Lewis Hamilton is 1/4 to finish ahead of Jenson Button (11/4).
