Hills Hoping Vettel Can Vanquish Alonso
Lewis Hamilton landed pole position for McLaren and is 5/4 favourite to win the last Grand Prix of the season.
Jenson Button is 4/1 with Sebastian Vettel 5/1. Fernando Alonso was a disappointing eighth place and he is 9/1 to win knowing that he must finish on the podium to have any hope of winning the Championship.
William Hill will be hoping that he does not due to the fact that throughout the season, Alonso has been the best backed driver. Alonso is 4/1 to win the Championship, while Sebastian Vettel is 1/6.
"It is only recently that Vettel forced himself back into the title race with four consecutive victories since Singapore," said William Hill spokesman Joe Crilly. "Before that, all the money was for Alonso and if by some miracle he manages to win the title in Brazil on Sunday, not only will he have overcome odds of 4/1 to do so, but he could cost us a fair bit more than if Vettel were to win."
Lewis Hamilton bagged his seventh pole position of the season but the odds are not in his favour when it comes to whether he will qualify fastest next season. He is 1/2 to fail to have a single pole position in 2013.
If McLaren get a 1-2 on Sunday, they will leapfrog Ferrari into second place in the Constructors Championship and they are 12/5 to do so.
