Mercedes send opposition round the Benz
Nico Rosberg and Michael Schumacher will fill the front row at the start of the Chinese Grand Prix and William Hill make them 3/1 and 7/2 respectively to win the race.
Lewis Hamilton, who qualified second but will start in seventh, is 9/2, the same price as his teammate Jenson Button.
Michael Schumacher has failed to finish on the podium once since his return to F1 but Hills make him 11/8 to grab a top three position this weekend. He is also just 5/4 to win a GP this season (4/7 he does not).
"A completely unexpected result today but the straight line speed of the Mercedes has set them slightly apart from most of the rest of the field and it could be time for the return of Schumacher," said Hill's spokesman Joe Crilly.
To say that Sebastian Vettel is underperforming this season would be an understatement and William Hill think his qualification woes could continue, offering 8/11 that he does not secure a pole position all season (Evens that he does).
