Red Bulls cut for Japan victory but Hamilton still big in Japan!

After the Red Bull cars impressed in Japan, William Hill have cut the price of both Sebastian Vettel and Mark Webber winning the race, although they still trail Lewis Hamilton in the betting.  After finishing fastest in Practice 2, Webber has been cut from 16/1 to 12/1, while Sebastian Vettel is in from 4/1 to 11/4. Lewis Hamilton is the 2/1 favourite for victory in Japan.

"The two Red Bull cars looked impressive and have been cut accordingly to win the race but despite assertions that his car is a little lacking around this circuit, Hamilton remains the man to beat," said William Hill spokesman Joe Crilly.

Despite crashing out of practice, Michael Schumacher has been cut ever so slightly from 100/1 to 80/1 as punters piled on after he announced his imminent retirement from the sport.

McLaren have had the winner of qualifying since Germany, five races ago, and Lewis Hamilton is 5/4 favourite to clock the fastest time, while Jenson Button is 8/1 third favourite (behind Vettel at 9/4). It is 5/1 for a British 1-2 in qualifying.

Japanese Grand Prix fastest qualifier: 5/4 Lewis Hamilton; 9/4 Sebastian Vettel; 8/1 Jenson Button; 9/1 Mark Webber; 14/1 Fernando Alonso; 28/1 Kimi Raikkonen; 33/1 BAR

Japan Grand Prix race winner: 2/1 Lewis Hamilton; 11/4 Sebastian Vettel; 6/1 Fernando Alonso; 120/1 Jenson Button; 11/1 Kimi Raikkonen; 12/1 Mark Webber; 20/1 BAR
