Vettel’s talent will make up for sluggish Red Bull
After claiming pole position last weekend, Lewis Hamilton heads the betting across the board with William Hill for the Malaysian Grand Prix.
He is 13/5 to win the race, 2/1 to secure pole position and 3/1 to grab the fastest lap in first practice.
Jenson Button is the joint second favourite to win the race at 11/4, the same price as Sebastian Vettel.
Despite finishing second last week, Sebastian Vettel is the 15/8 favourite to win the Drivers Championship this year. Jenson Button is 2/1, Lewis Hamilton 3/1 with Fernando Alonso quite a way back at 16/1.
"At the moment, we think that Vettel's Red Bull is just slightly off the pace currently being set by the McLarens, although he is such a talented driver that he will be able to make up some of that time. Whatever happens, we think it will be close between the two Brits and Vettel," said Hill's spokesman Joe Crilly.
