2012 was Wiggins' year, 2013 won't be as easy
Bradley Wiggins became the first Brit in history to win the Tour de France although the return of Alberto Contador and the emergence of Chris Froome and Vincenzo Nibali could mean that he will struggle to make as much of an impact.
William Hill make him 5/1 to win next year's Tour. Despite this though, 2012 really has been the year of Wiggins and it could be even more golden, with Wiggins Even money to win the Olympic time trial. Hills offer 6/1 that Wiggo is made a knight in the Queen's New Year's Honour's List.
"Wiggins has had a fantastic 2012 so far and it could get even better should he win gold in London," said Hill's spokesman Joe Crilly. "It will be a lot tougher for him next year though."
Despite the fact that Chris Froome finished second, there were some murmurings of discontent from the Froome camp that he could have won and he is 7/1 to have left Team Sky by the start of next year's Tour (1/20 not to).
