Gymnastics: From Silver to Bronze...To Gold?
After a heartbreaking demotion from silver to bronze in the team gymnastics, William Hill have reason for GB supporters to be cheerful as they are offering 4/5 that one gold medal is won in any of the individual events and 4/1 that two or more are. Louis Smith heads the charge for glory, with William Hill making him 6/5 second favourite to win the gold in the men's pommel, while Kristian Smith, one of the heroes of the bronze medal team is 10/1 for the all round and 8/1 for the vault.
"It was a heartbreaking finale to what had been an incredible evening session at the O2 but there may be cause for even more cheering when the individual events roll round," said Hill's spokesman Joe Crilly.
