Mixed day for GB hopefuls. Mo cut for Gold!
Following his world season's best time in the 5,000m, set in Oregon, William Hill have shaved Mo Farah's odds of winning gold in that event at the Olympics from 2/1 to 7/4. He is 2/1 to scoop the gold in the 10,000m and for him to win both medals is 11/2.
Phillips Idowu finished third in the triple jump and Hills make have pushed him out from 9/2 to 5/1 to win gold in London.
"A mixed day for Britain's medal hopefuls but both Mo and Phillips remain two of our hottest hopes for the summer," said Hill's spokesman Joe Crilly.
Justin Gatlin won the 100m in Oregon but it was not a world class field. Despite this, however, he remains unbeaten this season, although, Hills think all that will change in London. He is 20/1 to win the 100m with Usain Bolt the 1/2 favourite after he won in Rome earlier in the week
