Clegg 8/1 To Lose Seat After General Election

3/1 TO ENTER COALITION WITH LABOUR

WILLIAM HILL offer 3/1 that the next government will be a Labour-Lib Dem coalition - and 9/1 that there will be a repeat of the current Tory-Lib Dem coalition

Hills also offer 8/1 that Nick Clegg will lose his seat at the next General Election - and make Tim Farron 2/1 favourite to succeed him as Leader of the Party.

WITH polls showing Lib Dem support dwindling, William Hill have opened a market on how many seats they will end up with at the next General Election, and make 0-20 a 4/1 chance, with 21-40 their 10/11 favourite and 41 or more 13/8. It is an 11/8 chance that the next General Election will produce another Hung Parliament, with Labour 6/4 for an overall majority and the Tories 11/4 to do likelwise.

The Lib Dems are 250/1 to win a majority at the Election - longer odds than UKIP at 200/1.It is 11/8 that there will once more be a Hung Parliament as a result of the General Election.

With Nick Clegg hardly free from criticism, Hills make Tim Farron 2/1 favourite to succeed him as Lib Dem leader with Vince Cable 3/1; Ed Davey 6/1; Norman Lamb 10/1; Danny Alexander 12/1.
