Clegg-Out Odds Cut After Double Debate Defeat

AFTER NICK CLEGG was beaten for the sceond time in his EU debate with Nigel Farage, bookmakers William Hill have cut their odds for him to stand down as leader before January 1, 2016 from 11/10 to odds-on at 8/11. 'For a Party leader to be beaten twice in a head to head debate by the leader of a Party with no MPs to its name is unlikely to play well with senior members of the Lib Dems' said Hill's spokesman Graham Sharpe.

UKIP are now 7/4 to poll more votes than the Lib Dems at the next General Election (2/5 not to) and Even money favourites to poll most votes at the Euro Elections, with Labour 11/10; Tories 11/2; Lib Dems 200/1.
