Cooper fancied to replaced retired Red Ed
William Hill have made Yvette Cooper favourite to succeed Ed Miliband as Labour leader.
Her odds have been cut from 4/1 to 3/1, with David Miliband the 6/1 second favourite. John Healey is a 16/1 chance, while Ed Balls and Alan Johnson are both 20/1 shots.
"Yvette Cooper's career appears to be on an upward trajectory and she could well emerge as a serious contender for the leadership when Ed Miliband eventually departs," said Hill's spokesman Graham Sharpe.
